It was a sad Sunday afternoon, July 12 at Esther Obiakor junction in Agu Awka along the Onitsha-Enugu expressway when a trailer crushed to death man, wife and son.
According to an eyewitness who identified himself as Chijiuoke, he
said that people asked the trailer driver to stop speeding, but he
refused to slow down.
It was also gathereed that the trailer driver took to his heels immediately after the incident. The accisdent was said to involve a ash-coloured Toyota Camry car and a trailer with registration number LSR 897XQ. May their souls rest in peace.
