Tinubu's supporters ready to leave party to form Action Group

It is clear cut that the supporters of the National Leader of APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu are set to leave the party to form Action Group in order to defend and protect the interest of members of the party from the South West zone.

Nigerian Pilot Sunday gathered from APC South West members that they felt betrayed by the humiliation of Bola Tinubu by members of the party from the core North despite the critical role he played in the emergence of Muhammadu Buhari as the presidential candidate of the APC and the eventual victory of the party in the presidential election.

Nigerian Pilot Sunday also gathered that members of APC Action Group are not particularly happy with President Muhammadu Buhari, whom they alleged set the stage for the humiliation of Tinubu during his inauguration when he said he belonged to everybody and belonged to nobody. They said those against Tinubu and the South West within the APC took the phrase as signal and presidential endorsement to opponents of Tinubu to unleash their northern agenda in the ruling party.
