Five people have been reported dead in Kaduna over rush for ramadan gift and it was learnt that many others fainted during the stampede. A businessman,who deals in dairy products, was sharing gifts at the Kabala Constain area in Kaduna North local government area of the state, that attracted the huge crowd.
An eyewitness at the venue said that large number of people flooded the place where the gifts were been shared. He added that both able and physically challenged persons came in their hundreds explaining that the people became uncontrollable, leading to a stampede.
